Monday, Oct 19 was the first conference day at Siargao Nomad Fest, held at Isola Del Sole Villas and Resort. The morning was a run of short talks, the afternoon moved to longer hands-on sessions, and the day ended with a karaoke night.
The morning talks
Talks started at 9:30 and ran in half-hour slots, with a coffee break in the middle. The topics were AI and building a business around it: using AI to grow social media, building systems around your own strengths, running a company with AI, and building apps without a coding background.
Shawn spoke at 10:00. His session was "Augmenting Yourself: Building AI Systems Around Your Gift".
The afternoon
After a buffet networking lunch, the afternoon was for longer, hands-on sessions: one on running a company with AI, and a live build of a new app in about 90 minutes.
The evening
The day ended with a karaoke night, with billiards and darts on the side.
